Hunters Landing

Hunters Landing is a significantly large neighborhood and for this reason, it has been divided into 5 phases and 3 Homeowners’ Association. Phases one and three make up one Homeowners’ Association, phases two and four make up another while phase five makes up the last one. The luxury homes in this neighborhood sold by builders like Grand Homes and Drees Custom Homes have amazing features capable of wowing anyone. There are also a few Shaddock homes within this neighborhood with command $500 and up sales prices.  Homes in this neighborhood cost anywhere between $275,000 and $560,000 and in the last year, a home in this neighborhood only spends an average of 34 days on the market. This simply implies that a home could be yours within one month in this neighborhood just for falling in love with it. One amazing feature of Hunters Landing is that most of the homes were built between 2001 and 2014.  Hunters Landing is a highly desirable neighborhood and may be considered one of the most highly sought areas to live in all of Murphy akin to popular neighborhoods like The Aviary and Rolling Ridge Estates.   It is conveniently located to the employment sectors in Plano and Richardson like City Line, State Farm, Raytheon and more.  It is also very accessible to Plano via 544 or Richardson via Murphy Road.  With Plano schools, secure surroundings, ample activities and soaring home values, Hunters Landing is a premier place to live in Murphy, TX.

Boggess Elementary in Hunters Landing

Another major advantage of the Hunters Landing subdivision is that it all feeds into the Boggess Elementary close by. Kids sharing the same elementary school is one of the best ways for you and your kids to bond with neighbors. Boggess Elementary is great and I can say this from first hand experience. The staffs are fun to work with. Signing up for PTA programs and volunteering for events are so much fun as well. After Boggess, there’s Murphy Middle School, McMillen High School an then Plano East Senior High School, which are all schools fed by this neighborhood.

There is no community pool in Hunters Landing; however, many homes have personal pools in their backyard. This offers residents a more private pool time and even though there is no park designated to this community, a few minutes stroll can get you to the Mustang Park, where there are several picnic tables in a covered pavilion, barbecue grill, half basketball court, 2 playgrounds, an open green space for soccer and baseball as well as a 0.33 mile track.  One of the great associated amenities of life in Hunter’s Landing is the close proximity to Murphy Park and PSA Plano Sports Academy.  These two areas are activity hubs in Murphy of activities are within walking distance of Hunters Landing for trail walking, organized sports, camps, outdoor events and kids parks.
